This incredibly rare uniform set belongs to a Lieutenant from the Nebelwerfer branch of the Heer, denoted by the distinctive purple underlay on the shoulder boards and collar insignia. The Nebelwerfer units were responsible for deploying “Fog Launchers” (smoke and rocket artillery), which played a critical role in offensive operations. The tunic is in outstanding condition, showing minimal signs of wear, making it a prized addition for any serious collector.
Inside the pocket, the name of the officer is marked, along with the title of inspector, providing a unique opportunity for further research. The matching visor exhibits more wear, especially inside and slightly on the exterior (please review the photos).
